Myanmar has been in a state of emergency since the military coup in Myanmar on 1st February 2021. The civil disobedience movement is spreading through key ministries. All hospitals and medical facilities are under the control of the military dictatorship. The current COVID - 19 infection situation in Myanmar is the worst in Southeast Asia and is expected to get worse. Hundreds die every day and people wait in endless lines for oxygen and food. The United Nations said that the effects of Myanmar's political crisis and the corona virus could drive half of the country's population into poverty by 2022, and the world estimates that half of Myanmar's population would have been affected by COVID - 19 in August 2021.
As a result of that the Arakanese Rohingyas are facing various difficulties and in need of emergency assistance. Since 2012, many Rohingya villages were burned down and their properties were looted. They were made homeless and their basic human rights are violated. They are denied the right to employment, health care, freedom of movement and other fundamental rights. They are surviving in a critical condition, at the mercy of Allah (s.w.t) in prison-like ghetto in Arakan. They need our help. Please make a donation to help them.

On 15th October 2021, we donated food rations to 10 needy families in Arakan. Food packaging contains rice, cooking oil, dried chili peppers, onions, sweetened cream, sugar and salt.
