Fayas Ahmad bin Haji Shabbir Ahmad, born on 18/12/1985 is a Rohingya from Kyauktaw Tsp., Arakan, Myanmar. He came to Malaysia in 2006. He has a diploma from International Islamic College, Malaysia. He is pursuing Master of Science in Islamic Banking and Finance at Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). He is cooperating with Pertubuhan Himpunan Lepasan Institusi Pendidikan Malaysia (HALUAN) Malaysia in operating Rohingya Community Educare Center (RCEC) in Seri Kembangan and he is working for Rohingya Student Association (RSA-IIUM) as General Secretary. He serves as a part-time instructor for ARC English Class. He is Chief Executive Officer of ARC and one of the co-founders of ARC.

Haji Shabbir Ahmad bin Saleh Ahmad, born on 17/11/1955, is a Rohingya from Kyauktaw Tsp., Arakan, Myanmar. He is married and he has four children. He has a Degree in History form Yangon University and he is working as General Manager of Restoran Rosla in Bandar Baru Bangi, Malaysia. He came to Malaysia in 1995. He is a former government servant. He worked for the country for more than 20 years. He was appointed as director or adviser for many welfare societies. Currently he is sitting on Advisory boards of Surau Kampung Cheras and Surau Taman Selaman. He is one of the co-founders of ARC and he is now serving as Director General of Board of Directors of ARC.

Friday, February 3, 2017, Malaysia Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, together with  Datuk Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Deputy President of Parti Islam Se Malaysia  and the party's secretary-general, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan have flagged off the Food Flotilla For Myanmar, which set sail with a cargo of about 2,200 tones of food, at the Boustead Cruise Centre, Port Klang, Malaysia.

Nautical Aliya, loaded with food and other items and a barge, headed to Myanmar, this evening.

The effort is a joint initiative between the Putra 1Malaysia Club, Consultative Council of Islam Organizations (Mapim) and non-governmental organizations from 13 participating nations.

On 25th April 2015, Rohingyas community in Malaysia gathered in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to honor MP U Shwe Maung, House of Representatives (Pyithu Hluttaw), who came to Malaysia to attend the ASEAN People’s Forum (APF) Meetings. The program was organized by Arakan Rohingya council Malaysia (ARC) together with Rohingya Vision Malaysia (R-Vision), Ethnic Rohingya Committee of Arakan (ERC), Myanmar Ethnic Rohingya Human Rights Organization Malaysia (MEHROM), Rohingya Society in Malaysia (RSM) and other Rohingya activists and individuals.
