AID FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IN MALAYSIA PROGRAM REPORT

(BANTUAN KEPADA MANGSA BANJIR) 

Alhamdulillah, Aid for Flood Victims in Malaysia Program, held from 2nd January 2015 to 4th January 2015 at Padang Bola, Jalan Kuari, Kampung Cheras Baru, Kuala Lumpur was successfully organized by Arakan Rohingya Council Malaysia. During the program, foodstuffs and other necessities worth of Malaysian Ringgit one hundred and fourteen thousand (RM 114000) at current market price were collected from Rohingya community in Malaysia, Myanmar Muslims and Malaysians.

The things collected mainly include, rice, cooking oil, sugar, Maggi (Noodles) , Biscuit, Sardine can, Drinking Water, Bottled Juice, toothpaste, clothes, slippers, baby diapers, woman’s toiletries and other foodstuffs and necessities. 

All of the collected aids, loaded to five-ton three lorries were handed over during the handover ceremony of the aid to the concerning rescue team on 4th January 2015, at about 7:00 p.m. with the present of guests, local Authorities, representatives from Malaysian political parties, leaders from various NGOs, volunteers and medias. 

We would like to thank all of the participants of the program, philanthropists, honorable guests, local Authorities, representatives from Malaysian political parties, leaders from various NGOs, volunteers, Rohingya and Myanmar Muslim activists, ARC Members and the international Rohingya brothers and sisters who supported and assisted to get the work done.
